The Staywell 700 Series Original pet doors are 'Standard' design, plastic framed pet doors suitable for installation in solid core wood framed doors or other solid materials. Installation in a wall or hollow-core door requires that the user 'frame out' the wall first.

Flaps are rigid and consist of two parts: A central flap and overlapping 'U' shaped gasket piece. The result is an unusually tight sealing flap that is somewhat noisy in use.

Rigid, separate locking covers slide down from the top. These 'Original' pet doors are available in three colors: White, Brown and Grey (the large brown frame is discontinued).

Manufacturer recommended pet sizes are: Small-cats to about 15 lbs and dogs to about 7 lbs, Medium-dogs to about 40 lbs and Large-dogs up to about 100 lbs. We encourage you use these figures as guides and to make your own measurements.
