•   You want to let the dog or cat outside to get some fresh air but you have no way to control him once he's outside. Mount this shelter on the outside of a wall and your kitty or dog can go outside but remains controlled to his shelter until you let him out.
   
•   Sometimes you want the dog or cat able to come out to the patio but not next to where you're dining. Keep him in the shelter until you're done; then let them out to mingle with your guests.
   
•  You can raise the unit up out of the way and securely hold it with a strap. Or, there's a locking pet door included that you can open to let your pet out.

Here's the big thing:  The unit folds up very simply and is quickly fastened in place with a strap. No fuss at all.
